If the newspaper does not help to defrost the locks, and there is very little time, then you can use a blowtorch or gas torch. This method is better than boiling water for the reason that after using the burner the mechanism does not need to be dried. But the disadvantages of the method remain the same as those of the newspaper. Although some gas burners have flame adjustment, so if used carefully, the burner will not cause damage to the doors.

The next method is to pour antifreeze, alcohol or antifreeze into the lock. When interacting with ice, they loosen it, restoring the functionality of the mechanism.

Using a flat screwdriver, pry up the trim on the door handle. Under it there are 2 fastening screws, which we also unscrew. If there is a speaker in the door, unscrew it and take it out.
When everything is unscrewed, carefully remove the trim, pulling it towards you around the perimeter. Under the trim we will see the base of the door handle, which is also secured with screws. We unscrew them.

Now you can, so to speak, see with your own eyes why the door on the VAZ-2110 did not open from the inside. We replace the old worn plastic tip with a new one. At the end of the rod there is a thread onto which it is screwed. So we just twist it and screw on a new one. We check how everything works by opening and closing the door several times. Then all that remains is to simply put it in the handle and assemble the entire structure.
