What kind of oil to pour into the Lanos gearbox

The manufacturer recommends filling the Lanos gearbox with SAE 80W GL-4 oil. This type of oil is mineral. There is an opinion that factory oil must be changed to synthetic.   11. Using sealant, you need to coat the gasket on both sides with it, and install the pan in place, tightening it with 10 (11) bolts to “13”. There is no need to tighten them too much to avoid stripping the threads.
  12. Let's start pouring lubricant. For this purpose, special extension tubes may be provided in the canisters. If you don’t have them, you can make your own (using a hose) or use a syringe. The larger the volume of the syringe, the faster the process of filling the gearbox.
  13. Oil is poured until it reaches the minimum level in the control hole. The inconvenience of the method of filling through the breather hole is that an assistant needs to control the filling of the box from below the car.
  14. Screw the control (filler) plug into place and add another 100 ml of oil. This is not necessary if all the oil has been drained from the box.
