Problems typical for this car alarm model:

The key fob does not perform its functions and does not send commands. The cause of the problem may be low batteries, mechanical failure of the device, or a software malfunction. If the power supply fails, the battery must be replaced. If the problem is the negative impact of moisture on the device, but the key fob must be disassembled and dried so that there are no traces of water left on its board. If the remote control is damaged, its internal components are replaced by resoldering.
The wires through which the alarm is connected are damaged. With long-term use of the security system, wear of the conductors is possible, in particular if they are laid next to moving elements and components. To find a damaged cable, you need to use a multimeter. After replacing the wires, it is recommended to wrap them with electrical tape to provide them with additional protection from wear and tear.
One of the elements of the security complex has failed. We are talking about a transceiver module, a sensitivity controller, and a microprocessor unit. A detailed check of each device will be required; first of all, it is necessary to ensure the integrity of the contacts through which they are connected. If the control unit fails as a result of exposure to moisture, then its housing must be disassembled and dried by disconnecting its parts. Software malfunctions of the microprocessor can be resolved by flashing, which is best left to specialists.
False alarms have appeared, the alarm is activated for no reason. This problem is usually caused by the sensitivity of the kick controller being set incorrectly. To eliminate the malfunction, this operating parameter must be reduced by adjusting the sensor. It is not recommended to set the sensitivity value to minimum.

Alarm system Sherkhan Logicar 4 with auto start has the following functionality:

Two-way communication. The system regularly sends messages to the user about the vehicle's condition. Two-way channels are used to transmit signals. Data is protected by conversational coding, which prevents information from being intercepted by attackers.
Integration into digital vehicle tires. The components are used to control the electronic parts of the car. The use of a CAN bus allows minimizing interference with standard wiring.
Slave mode. To control the anti-theft complex, a standard key fob is used. Protective mode can be activated when the engine is running. Arming is carried out by command or at a time specified by the user.
Automatic engine start. This function allows you to warm up and start the engine at any time convenient for the user. The system evaluates the condition of the starter, taking into account the tachometer readings.
Several types of security. According to the user manual, the driver can turn on the alert mode with or without sound signals. Protection can be activated by entering a code.
Engine operation control. This is done by reading the data transmitted by the tachometer. The power unit can automatically start at a specified time.
Self-diagnosis. The head unit is equipped with a special program that evaluates the condition of the main components of the anti-theft system. To check, the processor module is connected to the computer using a USB cable.
Assessing the condition of the interior. The user can adjust the time when the backlight is turned on and off, and remotely control the windows and trunk.

the use of this option is allowed on cars with manual transmission and automatic transmission, as well as on cars equipped with an ignition with a Start/Stop button;
This option can be used on vehicles with engines powered by diesel fuel or gasoline;
you can adjust the start time of the internal combustion engine;
the option can be implemented in a time interval every two, four or eight hours;
You can start the internal combustion engine remotely by sending a command from the communicator.

Separately, we should talk about the functions of a pager with a screen:

as confirmation of completed or unexecuted options, a message is sent to the pager from the central module;
if you have a second car, then the pager can be linked to its alarm system, of course, when Sherkhan Logicar 1 is used on it;
the pager screen displays the operating time of the internal combustion engine when the Turbo mode, Pit Stop function or remote start is activated;
the communicator displays a two-way signal indication;

How to install

The installation instructions suggest following the following sequence of actions during installation:

It is prohibited to place the head unit behind the dashboard; install the unit in the engine compartment.
Glue the antenna module onto the tape. The device is located on the glass at a distance of at least 50 mm from metal parts.
Mount the LED indicator with the adjustment button on the lower edge of the glass.
The siren is located in the engine compartment, which ensures increased operating volume. The unit is located at a distance from heated or moving structural elements.
Install the hood and trunk lid position sensors.
Place an impact force detection sensor in the passenger compartment. The device body is placed openly, which allows you to set the first and second sensitivity zones during adjustment.
If an additional sensor is used in the design of the complex, then the element is placed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
After installing the Sherkhan alarm, you will lay the patch cables yourself. The cords are laid under decorative linings; it is prohibited to bend the routes at right angles and to press the insulators against sharp edges.

Connection diagram

The installer must connect the equipment using standard wiring harnesses. To connect to the central unit, plastic connectors are used, equipped with a rubber seal and a latch. The connection diagram of the 18-pin plug provides for connection to the on-board network, siren and outputs of additional channels. The automatic start unit and the central locking control module are connected separately. The documentation contains an electrical wiring diagram that explains the connection of components and fuses.
