By the way, in the process of building the podiums, I tried three types of polyurethane foam. Everyone turned out to be completely different. I bought three different cylinders of inexpensive foam in the price range up to 150 rubles. Boxer foam for 130 rubles turned out to be the worst, it did not dry well, was dense in consistency and increased in volume less than others. I liked the Pflex foam, in a green can, it costs 120 rubles. It increased in volume and dried much better, and after drying it was quite dense and cut perfectly.

Let's move on to the last stage. Tightening the skin is not as easy as it might seem. I did the following: I cut out the leatherette to the size of the podium, secured it with staples around the circumference of the niche for the speaker, coated the podium with 88-grade glue and began to stretch the leather. In the end I ended up with a hernia of skin (you’ll understand what I mean if you do something similar), there are two options: either make a fold or cut off the excess. I cut and joined the leatherette joint to joint, as a result the cut is almost invisible.
