Additionally, it is possible to use the “Rear View Camera” mode. When you engage reverse, it is activated automatically with a slight decrease in the radio volume. For the convenience of reverse parking, markings appear on the screen allowing you to see the distance to the obstacle. The green dotted line corresponds to a distance of 4 and a half meters from the rear bumper. The yellow line is one and a half meters, and the red line is 30-40 cm.

You can configure the screen, radio, telephony, rear view camera, video player, audio player, photo viewing mode, navigator. In this regard, multimedia on the Lada Vesta is much more attractive than a conventional radio.

Removing the trim

The speakers can only be installed by removing the trim from the car doors. This process must be done with care to avoid scratching the plastic. The casing is attached with self-tapping screws and 4 “hedgehogs”. They often break when dismantling the casing, so it is better to get spare ones.

Installation of speakers in front doors

First of all, it is necessary to remove the insulation where the speaker is attached. If the standard speakers are being replaced, then the old speaker system must be dismantled. There may be a piece of pull rod left inside the rivet. It needs to be carefully knocked out and the caps drilled out.

Speakers with a diameter of 16 cm are attached to 3 self-tapping screws. Be sure to use a spacer. Separate adjustment is not required, but the gap between the acoustics and the body should be about a centimeter.

Acoustics

Next, the actual installation of speakers in the doors of the Lada Vesta begins. First, all insulating material is removed from the seats where the speakers will be fixed. The door layout in this case is the same as that of the Renault Logan. Instead of the usual 4 mounting holes for speakers, there are only 3.

If you intend to install acoustics with a diameter of 16 cm or less, then you will not have to cut the steel. Wooden spacers will be sufficient. As for the thickness, it should be such that the installed speakers do not interfere with the assembly of the doors.

Connectivity is not that simple. The fact is that there is already wiring in the doors from the factory, but the plug is non-standard - not from AvtoVAZ, but from Renault-Nissan. You cannot cut it, as this will lead to loss of warranty rights. The only way out is to separately buy and install an adapter like CT55-17 or ZRS-AG-22.

Separate installation of the mesh in the door cards is not required. Therefore, all that remains is to assemble everything in reverse order.

Installation of speakers in the rear doors of Lada Vesta is carried out according to a similar algorithm. The hole for the speaker is the same size as in the front doors. When installing the casing, the algorithm is as follows:

Remove the window regulator handle if it has a mechanical drive.
Remove the door handle trim to gain access to the two screws.
Unscrew the screws, unclip the rivets and remove the door card.

Thus, the trim from the left door is removed. Removing the trim on the right side has its own characteristics. There is no need to remove the power window buttons and look for the secret screw plug. Simply remove the handle cover. To do this, you need to pry the plugs from the bottom; there is a special groove in it, using a plastic card. Then you need to unscrew two 10 mm screws, the next step is to remove the trim, as with the left door.

Dismantling

Before installing and connecting speakers in the Lada Vesta, you need to remove the door cards. This is not difficult to do. To work, you will need a simple tool - a ratchet, a TORX T20 bit (star), as well as a plastic spatula for removing elements of door cards. If you don't have a spatula, you can use a knife or flathead screwdriver.

Front doors

After this, you need to remove the lampshade. It is pryed off from the side, and then the plug is disconnected. When this is done, 3 screws are removed from below, which secure the card to the door.

Then the plastic plug is removed from the end, behind which the fastening screw is located. It needs to be unscrewed.

In the center of the door, first unscrew the screw that is located in the door handle.

Next, use a knife or screwdriver to pry off the control unit for the central locking, mirrors and power windows. It needs to be picked up from the side, but very carefully so as not to break the latches.

When the block is removed, you need to unscrew another bolt.

In the end, all that remains is to snap off the caps. To do this, use a plastic spatula (or a screwdriver wrapped in fabric) to bend the door card from below, and then snap it off around the perimeter.

Rear doors

If you decide to install speakers in the Lada Vesta not only in the front doors, then the rear door cards will also have to be removed.

In this case, you first need to remove the window lifter handle if they have a mechanical drive. To do this, you need to insert a plastic spatula from the reverse side and remove the latch, after which the handle itself will be removed.

Then carefully remove the door handle trim - this will give access to the 2 screws. They need to be unscrewed. There is only one screw left - at the bottom of the door.

Replacing speakers + door shutters

Due to the quarantine, there is time to write posts on improvements, which have accumulated quite a lot at the moment.

So, I decided to replace the standard 20-watt units with something more powerful. I decided to install a component system forward, and a coaxial system backward. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so I limited myself to the budget JBL series. Exchanged accumulated Aeroflot miles for a coupon for 5,000 rubles. in Eldorado and took JBL Stage 2604C to the front and JBL Stage 2524 to the rear. In total, the speakers cost only 700 rubles, which I think is not bad. I also purchased eraser spacers from Westashhop for the front and rear. They are very convenient; the kit also includes adapters from standard connectors. Well, you need a reserve of vibration and noise. Vibra took STP GB3 for external surfaces, GB2 for internal metal and STP Accent 10KS for internal door skins (do not take it).

I did it for a week very slowly, an hour or two a day.

I cut the vibration into pieces that are easy to stick

I started with the back doors. They are very easy to disassemble - two bolts under the door handle and one self-tapping screw from below. We tear off the door trim (I only broke one clip for all the doors).

Next, we remove the standard splen and wipe off the non-drying sealant. This is another quest. It is most convenient to tear it off with pieces of reinforced tape removed immediately from the door. Well, we wipe the Movil inside the door with a degreaser.

Next I drilled out the rivets on the speakers. The most convenient way to do this is with a 9 mm metal drill. The process is quite complicated and it is very easy to damage the paint on the door.

I'm mounting new speakers on a spacer and then a bummer happened. Due to the fact that the speakers are mounted square, the standard holes on the spacer do not match the holes on the speaker. I had to farm and drill holes.
