And a truck that can lift only 705 kg. – a very highly specialized thing. Nevertheless, people have begun to take a closer look at the Tundra and are interested in its characteristics. The test drive of the Toyota Tundra once again confirmed the professionalism of the company’s employees. If you do not take into account the uncertainty of the target audience, there is almost nothing to complain about. A couple of words about the interior. Claims can only be made at the entrance - you have to climb quite high, and the Tundra does not have a step. But after climbing, you just get shocked. In the latter case, the total length of the car is 6.28 meters, which makes it somewhat difficult, for example, to find a parking space. At the same time, a wonderful surprise was the turning radius of only 6.7 m - for its size, the Tundra turns almost on the spot. One thing can be said about the safety system: the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Safety and Security) awarded it as many as 4 stars for protection in a frontal collision. We can say that by using the Tundra you are maximally insured against road troubles (if, of course, you yourself make an effort to do so).
Tundra drive Thanks to the engine power, the model accelerates to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds. The visibility is excellent, the steering wheel is extremely informative, and the whole “carcass” is obedient to it even at high speeds and on unimportant roads. Adhesion to the road surface is also close to ideal: slipping and sliding were not noticeable either on concrete blocks, or on primer, or on stones. Many pickup trucks have the unpleasant habit of walking poorly with an unloaded body. Tundra is free from these shortcomings: no wobbling, no rattling, no willfulness with attempts to skid the entire car was detected. The box works like a Swiss watch: without clicks, lags or jerks. Getting acquainted with the technical characteristics of the model, looking around its huge interior and appreciating the comfort, you begin to feel sad about that the car is not yet very popular among our compatriots. A test drive of the Toyota Tundra convincingly proved that it is quite worthy of close attention. The only significant drawback can be considered only its cost. Even the dimensions are easy to get used to over time and instantly calculate the appropriate place to park successfully.
