As this indicator increases, the discs are compressed more strongly, which helps prevent the strap from slipping. The amount of pressure generated by the pumping device determines the speed of the CVT gearbox. The larger this parameter is, the faster the gear ratio will change. To lubricate internal parts and components, a special lubricant is used, intended for Toyota Rav 4 CVTs and produced by the car manufacturer.
