6. We remove the old SF, in its place we put a new one, observing the correct position (the arrow of the component should be directed upward).

Remove the partition and put it aside. That's it, now in front of you is the filter housing of the first generation X-Trail crossover. The lid itself is held in place simply by 2 latches. They are removed manually and the cover is removed. Only if you change the filter in winter, when it is very cold in the cabin, then you need to remove the fasteners extremely carefully.
