Stealth fighter security connection diagram. Alarm Fighter - device overview and operating instructions. Advantages and disadvantages

How to effectively protect your own vehicle from theft without overpaying for unnecessary features and brand? This question is asked by every car enthusiast who makes a choice in favor of one of the security systems on the market today. If the phrase Fighter alarm system is not yet familiar to the car owner, it means that the answer to this question has not yet been found.

The Fighter car alarm is exactly the product that successfully combines a high degree of protection, comfortable operation, and affordable cost. These three components of success make these budget security systems the most attractive option for anyone interested in a profitable and useful purchase.

High security efficiency: secret cipher

Of all the possible technologies for protection against interception (statistical, dialog, dynamic code), fighter alarm manufacturers chose the last one. And they were right. The Keeloq® dynamic cipher, which has become the basis of a barrier erected between a motorist’s movable property and an attacker attempting to steal it, is the best option, and here’s why:

  1. "Floating" cipher. Unlike a statistical code, protected by a single password key for all systems of a certain brand, a dynamic code implies constant updating of the cipher with each subsequent transmission of the package (after pressing the key fob button). Even if an attacker is able to intercept it, he will not be able to use it, since the next disarming action will use a completely different code unknown to him.
  2. Budget element. Unlike interactive code, which implies a more complex encryption principle and, accordingly, a more expensive creation technology, dynamic code costs several times less. Its use allows us to keep the cost of Fighters at a level accessible to everyone, without sacrificing the quality of their protective properties.

Regardless of the chosen system, be it models of the Ex series (ex,ex plus), F series (f - 35, f - 15, f - 31, f - 28) or stealth fighter S series (107, 111, 109) the machine is always will be reliably protected thanks to the use of an effective encryption principle using Keeloq® technology.

Comfortable control: maximum useful options

The manufacturer's care is visible not only in a competent security scheme, but also in a thoughtful set of functional properties. In fighter alarms (ex, Revolution, F, Jet, stealth fighter S), as a rule, there are no problems with the lack of any mode. Everything a car owner needs is provided even by the simplest system of this brand.

The basic functional set (using the example of the most budget model Fighter 104) includes the following options:

  1. Automatic door locking. As soon as the key fob gives the command to arm the car, the doors will close automatically (the same will happen when the ignition is turned on).
  2. Remote control . The opening/closing of doors (central locking) and trunk is coordinated using the control panel (alarm key fob).
  3. Auto return to security mode. The mode is activated when, after canceling the protection, the car doors do not open within a period of half a minute; in this case, the system returns the car to the security mode again.
  4. Automatic arming. Ten seconds after the car doors are closed (with the ignition already turned off), the alarm will automatically go into protective mode.
  5. Silent arming/disarming. Changes in system state (off/on) will not be accompanied by sound signals confirming these actions.

More advanced models of the Fighter alarm manufacturer's line (for example, ex plus) boast a longer list of functions, including auto engine start, and “turbo timer”, “safe driving”, “anti-robbery” modes and other very useful options.

Varieties and model range

There are the following model ranges of Fighter alarms:

  1. Jet. A series of anti-theft devices are equipped with an engine blocking system that is triggered by unauthorized opening of doors, turning on the ignition and mechanical impacts on the body.
  2. Revolution. The alarm line is equipped with a function to enable protective mode when the engine is running. It is also possible to automatically start the engine upon the driver’s command or pre-selected parameters.
  3. Fighter Excellent. Excelent alarms have a wider range of functions, including AntiHiJack, Turbo Timer, Anti-Robbery options.
  4. Jerry. Security systems are equipped with the function of gradual disabling of security with the introduction of a password, activation of protection with the engine running.

Accessible installation and connection: clear diagram

Another attractive factor when choosing Fighter alarms is the ability to quickly and easily install the system on a car with your own hands. Of course, you can use the help of professionals, but their services will double the car owner’s costs.

Detailed instructions included in the kit of any Fighter model, along with other elements (main module - central unit, control panel - key fob, shock sensor, Valet service button, LED indicator, siren, wiring harnesses) will tell you the correct algorithm of actions and protect you from mistakes, in particular regarding the following points:

  1. Location of alarm components. The basic rule, which allows us to hope for the flawless operation of each individual element of the system and for their successful interaction, says: you cannot place system components in places that are unsafe for them (near heating parts, components, devices that create radio interference, in areas where there is a risk of moisture getting inside parts where it is not protected from mechanical stress).
  2. Element connections. A clear connection diagram for Fighter alarms, presented in the form of an illustration that makes it easier to understand, leaves no chance for error. Everything is simple, clear and accessible. Anyone who can read can understand this issue (fortunately, no special skills are required to install Fighter alarms yourself; it is enough to be able to carefully study the materials and not be afraid to apply the acquired knowledge in practice).

How to install

According to the user controls, installation of the Fighter F 90 anti-theft system is carried out by performing the following actions:

  • placement of the processor unit (installed under the dashboard and secured with screws);
  • installation of a siren (the part is fixed in the engine compartment away from the intake valve);
  • installation of a limit switch (the part included in the kit is installed on the hood, the wires are routed towards the head unit under the interior trim);
  • installation of a shock sensor (located on the partition separating the interior from the engine compartment, the sensitivity regulator should be easily accessible to the driver);
  • placement of the transceiver module (the part is installed at the highest point of the windshield, away from iron objects and electrical devices);
  • installing a service key (the button is installed so that hijackers cannot find it);
  • connection of components (installation cables are connected to the connectors according to the diagram contained in the annotation).

System setup: made easy

Of course, you need to start with “registration” of the Fighter alarm control panel. A step-by-step guide to linking a key fob for each specific model has its own characteristics. For comparison, we will describe this process using the example of two popular models:

  1. Fighter F – 31. Procedure:
      (turn the ignition on and off twice, then press the Valet button and hold it, a long alarm will notify you that the system is ready);
  2. recording the key fob (press any button on the key fob, one short beep means that the remote control has been successfully memorized by the system).
  3. Fighter F – 14. Applicable scheme:
      switching to programming mode (turn the ignition on and off 7 times, one light flash and activation of the status indicator will notify you that the system is ready);
  4. recording the key fob (press the left button of the key fob, the alarm will confirm the identification with three short light signals).

What unites all Fighter alarms is the last stage of the key fob binding process: to record additional key fobs, we repeat the last step as many times as the PU is supposed to be registered in the system memory.

There are situations when the owner of a vehicle is faced with the question: how to determine the model using the key fob (in most cases, after purchasing a used car with an alarm already installed on it). You need to look for answers on the World Wide Web. It is there that there is all the necessary information regarding the topic: how to recognize the model by the key fob (alarm systems Panther, Starline, Tomahawk, Fighter and others can be easily recognized using their control panel, this is not a problem).

As for programming functions and modes, this action is not much different from binding a key fob. The instruction manual gives clear instructions that you just need to follow and then everything will work out!

Food for thought

Despite the fact that Fighter alarm systems belong to economy class security systems, they are quite capable of competing with more expensive brands not only in terms of security, but also in terms of functionality.

Interesting comparisons:

  1. StarLine. The fighter f 14 model (like most other F series systems) can easily be called a simplified version of Starline v9. It can also offer a silent security mode, automatic door unlocking/locking, security modes (panic, anti-burglary), passive engine blocking, and other protective and service functions useful for the user. Yes, it loses a little in terms of optional equipment (no feedback, no ability to work with a GSM and/or GPS module), but it takes its toll due to its attractive price.
  2. Tomahawk. The stealth fighter alarm (S – 111, for example), which already has a minimum set of necessary functions in its arsenal, requires the installation of additional elements, in particular a pager, a remote control module for starting the engine, position and volume sensors, which significantly expand its capabilities and degree of comfort. Exactly the same “optional equipment” is recommended for such a popular alarm model as the Tomahawk TW-7010 (which, it should be noted, is more expensive).

Analogies can be made with other products from well-known brands (Pantera, Mongoose, Pandora, APS, Alligator, Pharaon and others), but the conclusion is always clear: more expensive does not mean better.

Fighter alarms may not yet boast worldwide fame, but they are quite capable of satisfying the needs of those who value practicality and reliability for little money! And there are many such car enthusiasts in our country!

Left and Right keys at once: • Turn on the anti-robbery mode - with the ignition on, press and hold for more than 3 seconds.

Turning on security To turn on security, press the left key on the key fob. The doors will lock, the siren will sound once, the lights will flash once, the lock will engage, and the status indicator will flash at a rate of 1.5 Hz (SI unit of periodic frequency).

.
Security will be armed after 5 or 40 seconds depending on the programmed delay function. Automatic arming, if programmed, occurs 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off and the doors are closed. The status indicator flashes for 30 seconds at a frequency of about 3 Hz (unit of frequency of periodic processes in the International System of Units SI)
. Opening the doors during these 30 seconds interrupts the passive arming period; after closing the door, the time countdown resumes. Automatic arming is canceled by turning on the ignition. When you turn on the security system with the doors (hood, trunk) open or the interior lighting on, three siren signals will sound and the light signals will flash three times; the active sensor will be excluded from security until its normal state is restored. The shock sensor and additional sensor can be completely or partially turned off for one security cycle with the key fob. To do this, no later than 5 seconds after turning on the security mode, press the right key of the key fob: • once to disable the first level of operation; • twice to completely turn off the sensors; • three times to switch the sensors back on. Each press will be followed by light and sound signals in the amount of 1, 2, and 3, respectively.

Today, the range of anti-theft car systems on the market is simply huge. Each buyer can purchase an alarm system in accordance with his financial capabilities and needs, but a large selection can simply confuse the consumer. In this article we will talk about what the Fighter alarm system is, what models can be found on sale and what disadvantages are typical for such alarms.

[Hide]

Characteristics of the Fighter car alarm

As you know, the purpose of any anti-theft system is to sound and light alert the car owner about illegal entry into the car interior. Signalka Fighter is no exception. In addition, this alarm allows you to block the engine from starting in the event of a car break-in, as well as perform service functions using a key fob remotely. Installation of the Fighter signaling is allowed in all vehicles in which the voltage in the on-board network is 12 volts.

Appearance, equipment and parameters

The system includes:

  • the control unit, which is the “brain”, is designed to process signals coming from the remote control, as well as perform basic protective functions;
  • siren used to sound a sound signal;
  • two control panels - as a rule, one with feedback and the other as a spare, but it all depends on the signaling model;
  • installation kit for installing and connecting the anti-theft system;
  • operating and installation instructions;
  • shock sensor;
  • LED to warn that the alarm is on;
  • antenna adapter designed for receiving and transmitting pulses;
  • Depending on the model, the package may also include a relay.

Functionality

Now let's look at the main functionality, starting with the protective functions:

  • the anti-theft system protects the vehicle from illegal starting of the engine;
  • provides reliable protection against opening the interior doors, trunk, and hood;
  • allows you to protect against door opening when the engine is running;
  • in addition, Fighter provides two-level protection against impacts and other impacts on the vehicle body;
  • The signaling also allows for reliable protection against power interruption.

These are the main protective features of car alarms.

We also suggest that you familiarize yourself with the service functions using the F-31 model as an example:

  • the ability to control door locks automatically;
  • if the car owner accidentally disables the protection, then after some time the system will automatically return the car to security;
  • there is an option to automatically activate security;
  • options for activating and deactivating the protection mode can be carried out both with and without audio confirmation;
  • possibility of emergency shutdown of protection without using a remote control, using a personal code;
  • “Panic” option;
  • the car search option is especially relevant when the car is left in a large parking lot with many other cars;
  • “silent” security option;
  • the ability to control additional system channels;
  • Fighter F-31 also allows you to control the duration of auxiliary channel control signals;
  • the ability to control lighting in the vehicle interior; our compatriots often use this function to scare away suspicious people from the car;
  • diode indication of operating modes, the fact, and the reason why the alarm was triggered;
  • remote shutdown of the shock sensor, especially important if the controller is configured incorrectly (too sensitive) and the system often trips for no reason;
  • door opening in two stages;
  • The signaling also allows you to control the central locking of the car;
  • two-pulse opening of door locks;
  • option to detect unlocked doors, trunk lid or hood when protection is activated;
  • Another important functional feature is the sensor diagnostics option, which allows you to identify failed devices in case of problems;
  • function of recording codes, as well as deleting combinations of lost control panels from memory.

Separately, it should be noted the functions that help ensure the personal safety of the motorist:

  • the ability to enable the Anti High Jack option from the key fob - anti-robbery function;
  • the same option can be launched in automatic mode;
  • option for automatic control - opening and closing - doors while driving.

  • F-31;
  • Revolution.

Pros and cons of devices

Now we invite you to familiarize yourself with the advantages and disadvantages of Fighter alarms. The cost of such systems is not particularly high, but despite this, almost every model is characterized by extensive functionality. Using the instructions, each user will be able to customize this alarm for themselves.

So, the advantages:

  1. Affordable price.
  2. Ease of system setup. The driver can configure all functions using the control key fob.
  3. Huge functionality.
  4. High degree of security against signal interception. It should be noted that premium alarm models can envy such security. The developers used unique coding when developing systems, which helps prevent possible interception of pulses (the author of the video about setting up the shock sensor is the Michael MNS channel).

Now check out the main disadvantages:

  1. Due to the fact that the developer saved money in the production of the alarm system, the quality of the component elements suffered. For example, the control panel - this device is not protected from various environmental influences. So simple exposure to moisture or even a minor fall can destroy the keychain. Although the quality of the anti-theft system components that are installed on board is quite high and does not cause such complaints.
  2. In addition, the savings led to various inconveniences in terms of setup. It's not that setting up the system is difficult, but without the instruction manual it will be almost impossible to complete this task. Each model has an abundance of different commands, which are divided into 2 and 4 buttons. So, to perform a particular function, you will have to remember all the combinations of supplied pulses, as well as their meaning.
  3. Some models in the line come with a key fob without a screen, and this, in turn, makes using the system much more difficult, although not critical. If any problem arises, the system will warn you about it in any case. But what exactly happened, the car owner will be able to find out on the spot.

Advantages and disadvantages

The Fighter brand has gained enormous popularity among the population due to the minimum cost of the product. We can say with confidence that the company is considered the best manufacturer of budget alarm systems.

Despite the low cost, each model is equipped with the maximum number of useful functions and capabilities. Using the instructions, it is possible to create optimal working conditions. The alarm can be easily adapted to many everyday tasks.

The degree of protection against signal interception is at a high level. This can be the envy of competitors not only in the budget group. Thanks to the unique coding, it is almost impossible to intercept control of the security system.

Let's summarize the positive qualities of the product. They became:

  • low cost;
  • flexible configuration system;
  • a large set of functions and programs;
  • signal security.

High savings were reflected in the quality of the most basic parts. Take, for example, the same keychain. It has virtually no protection from environmental factors. At the same time, the quality of the alarm components located on board the car does not raise such severe criticism.

Another side of saving is minimalism and all sorts of inconveniences. It is almost impossible to set up the alarm without instructions. The abundance of commands, divided mainly into 2 and 4 buttons, is significant. You will also have to remember the combinations of signals supplied and their meaning if we are talking about two-way communication with the car.

Many models from the production line do not have a display on the key fob, which makes operation very difficult. But this is not so critical. If any danger arises, the system will let you know about it. And what happened there can already be figured out on the spot.

Let's summarize what has been said. Among the shortcomings the following were identified.

Operation and Installation Guide

A few points to consider during installation:

  1. The control unit is installed in a hidden place in the car interior. The module must be installed in a place inaccessible to an attacker. That is, places such as under the dashboard in the glove compartment, under the seat, near the radio are excluded.
  2. The wire from the antenna adapter must not be protected or twisted during installation. This cable should be at least 15 cm long and should be laid as far as possible from the metal components of the car body.
  3. To prevent an emergency, it is necessary to block only those chains that do not interfere with the movement of the vehicle, for example, the starter.
  4. The anti-theft installation harnesses should be laid away from moving parts of the car, sources of high temperatures, and electromagnetic interference. It is necessary to exclude the possibility of fuel and lubricants or other foreign objects getting on the harnesses, the same applies to precipitation, as well as dust. Wires can be protected from possible chafing using additional clamps. When wiring is routed through holes, grommets must also be used.

Photo gallery “Programmable functions”

Let's briefly consider the main nuances of operation using the F-31 model as an example. To disable the shock controller, immediately after activating the protection, press button 1 on the remote control again. In this case, the shock controller will be turned off, but only for one security cycle; one beep will sound in confirmation. To reduce the duration of the alarm on the shock controller, after activating the protection, you need to press button 1 twice for three seconds.

How to change programmable functions:

  1. First, the security mode is activated.
  2. Then the ignition is activated and turned off three times, after which the key must be left in the “off” position.
  3. Next, press the service button 2, 4, 6 or 8 times, and on the last press it should be held until the corresponding siren signals sound (their number depends on the number of times the button is pressed). After this, one long signal will be heard, which means the activation of option programming in accordance with the tables above. After this, the button must be released.
  4. In accordance with the selected function, you must press the button on the remote control a certain number of times.
  5. Next, again. Three beeps should sound, which means that the programming mode has been activated. It is activated automatically for fifteen seconds if you do not take any action.

How to return the anti-theft system to factory settings:

  1. First, you should activate and turn off the ignition three times, then leave the key in the off state.
  2. Then press the service key 12 times and hold it until the siren gives 6 short signals. At the end, another, longer signal should sound.
  3. After completing these steps, you need to hold down buttons 2 and 4 on the remote control for at least six seconds. As a result, six short and three longer beeps should be heard. This will cause all programmed options to return to factory settings.

Price issue

The cost of the alarm depends on its model. One of the most popular models is the F-14 model; its average price is about 1,700-2,000 rubles.

This brand of budget security systems for cars is widely known throughout the CIS; its products are considered the best in their price segment. Decent functionality, convenient and easy setup, high degree of protection against signal interception, unique encoding - very good for an economy option. Unfortunately, key fobs are the weak link of the Fighter systems, because... their protection against damage leaves much to be desired.

But this problem can be solved: on our website you can buy or order any key fob for an alarm of this brand. It doesn’t matter whether the old one was lost or broken, stolen or the battery simply died - if there is a device, it can be repaired or sold for spare parts, and instead of the lost one, buy a new one, of the same size and weight, with the same design and number of buttons. Our company’s specialists are always ready to help with programming and reprogramming the key fob, “introduce” an additional or replacement device to an already installed system, unlock it, and perform repairs of any degree of complexity.

Everything you need to use

The offered products are always in stock, the entire model range is brand new, fully operational, without defects and with accompanying documents. This is an important point, because Many models do not have a display, and programming without instructions for reading the buttons is problematic - you will have to remember the combinations and meaning of the signals. And without a display on the key fob, operation becomes more complicated - a signal comes without specifics, you have to personally come to the car and find out on the spot what exactly happened. That's why it's a budget option - a minimum of amenities, but with acceptable reliability and at an affordable price. If you need a keychain, contact us, you won’t regret it!

Let's take a look at all the nuances of the Fighter Ex Plus car alarm. Design and characteristics of Fighter Ex Plus.

Fighter F-14 security system. Laboratory. Supertest

In the system given to us, time seems to have slowed down - we have already seen all this 5 and 10 years ago

This is not only not the most modern alarm system, but also not the most financially expensive. Therefore, frankly speaking, traces of production savings are abundantly observed in almost all of its components and elements. For example, in a two-button key fob of a design that is not at all unusual, and has been wandering from version to version for more than a year in a row. Overall, he's totally likable. Two interestingly shaped keys are placed in a recess; they can be pressed comfortably without even removing the key fob from the pocket. Pressing is accompanied by good sound and tactile feedback - it’s impossible to make a mistake. The material of the buttons is hard plastic, glued to the body on the back side. It's not reliable. Sooner or later, this type of fixation is destroyed by pressing, and the buttons simply begin to dangle in the case. Inside the key fob there is a simple circuit with frequency stabilization using surface acoustic waves (SAW) and an HCS 200 encoder. Everything is assembled with high quality - you can’t complain. But there was one “puncture” - neither on the board nor on the case there is an indication of the polarity of the battery (an “ordinary” person should not know at all that the spring on the contact is usually responsible for the “minus”). The main unit board is made of getinax (essentially pressed cardboard), which is not very good for automotive use - getinax is not resistant to humidity and temperature changes (but it is cheap). The mounting of components on the board is mainly hinged, only on the reverse side there are several parts for surface mounting. Apparently, some of the elements are soldered manually using technology that does not meet automotive requirements. For example, diodes are not only placed crookedly, but also vertically - to save space. Such bulky parts are usually “laid down”. The microprocessor here is ordinary, for everyday use. The connectors are also not the best and they are placed awkwardly for installers - on different sides of the board. There is only one varistor - for power supply. The board is coated with protective varnish on only one side. The power supply of the sensor and LED is not “decoupled” from the general supply. In addition, this is the only alarm in the review that does not include a blocking relay - you will have to purchase one. Emergency disarming is not quite usually implemented - there is no special service button, so the PIN code is entered through the ignition switch. But the algorithm is damn inconvenient: you have to count the LED flashes, and it’s easy to make a mistake. But who said that entering a personal code should be a simple procedure? Not at all! Simplicity here is a gift to the hijacker. So in terms of protecting the emergency channel, everything is in order here. Manufacturers even made the “factory” code unusual (24 bits instead of the usual 11), which adds security to the system. And programming the latest code is a completely confusing procedure, which is also good. Forced engine blocking during a robbery (anti-carjack) is activated using a non-hazardous method: at first there is a pause of 40 seconds, later there are warning signals from the siren, then an alarm sounds for 4 minutes. After “playing” the alarm cycle, the engine remains blocked until the PIN code is entered. The instructions for the kit are published carefully, but are written superficially. In particular, the function of locking the doors 5 seconds after turning on the ignition is not “registered” - what will happen if the door is opened into this gap? Will the system go into standby or cancel the command?
