Step-by-step instruction

The installation procedure is as follows:

  1. The microprocessor module is installed hidden in the vehicle interior. It can be located behind the instrument cluster, glove box or under the dashboard. It is advisable that in order to gain access to the device you have to disassemble the trim in the cabin, this will prevent the car from being stolen quickly. Double-sided tape or plastic ties are used to secure it.
  2. The transceiver module is mounted in the upper corner of the windshield or rear window. It is important that the distance from the antenna to metal objects is at least 5 cm, this will avoid interference. Before installation, the glass surface must be cleaned. If the installation is carried out in winter, then its temperature can be at least 10 degrees Celsius. The wire from the antenna to the microprocessor module is laid under the decorative trim of the interior; during installation, care must be taken to ensure that the cable is not pinched.
  3. The LED indicator is mounted in the corner of the front glass. First, its surface must be cleaned and degreased. You can embed the LED indicator into the dashboard, then you must first make a hole in it to install the light bulb.
  4. The siren is located under the hood of the car, in a place that is maximally protected from external influences from under the bottom of the car. Do not install the siren near heating units and moving parts. It is recommended to place the device's horn down to prevent moisture from forming inside.
  5. The hood limit switch is mounted on a metal surface that is as close to the body as possible. There should be no accumulation of moisture at the installation site. When the hood is locked, the sensor is protected by a rubber seal.
  6. The shock sensor is fixed in the car using two bolts. During installation, it must be taken into account that the consumer must have access to the controller to change the sensitivity parameter. The sensor is equipped with two regulators. The first determines the sensitivity of the warning zone, and the second - the alarm zone. For fixation, it is better to choose the central part of the body so that the device detects physical impacts from all sides of the body.
  7. If additional controllers are used, their installation is carried out taking into account the manufacturer’s recommendations. For example, the engine temperature sensor must be installed in the cooling system line.
  8. After installing all the elements, they are connected to the control unit. The wires are laid under the decorative lining of the car interior.

Reprogramming and firmware

You can reflash the Magikar A key fob in two steps (code replacement is not used).

  1. This action takes 4 seconds. Turn the ignition on three times. Turn it off. Confirmation – the hazard warning light flashes once.
  2. Within four seconds, click the 1st key of the first remote control. This will be followed by a single flash of lights. Enter the passwords for the second and third switch. Hazard lights should flash once to confirm correct execution. After you enter the data for the third key fob, the optical instruments will blink twice and the alarm will exit the programming mode.

User manual

Before using the key fob, you must install a working power source in the device. The battery is inserted into a special compartment hidden under the back cover of the communicator. Polarity must be taken into account when installing.

Pager programming

Without programming the communicator, setting up the Sherkhan Logicar 1 alarm functions will be impossible.

To bind a new remote control, perform the following steps:

  1. The car alarm security mode is disabled. The ignition in the car must be turned off.
  2. The button on the LED housing is pressed and held for two seconds. The car's headlights should then blink.
  3. Within the next five seconds the button is pressed again. If a password has been set to control the alarm, the car's headlights should blink twice. If there is a PIN code, the blinking will be single.
  4. If a password is used, it is entered. If you don't have a PIN code, you don't need to do anything.
  5. After five seconds the LED will start to light continuously. This indicates that the car alarm is entering the communicator's binding menu. No more than three remote controls can be registered in the memory of the Sherkhan Logicar 1 microprocessor alarm module.
  6. Over the next 5 seconds, the first key fob button is pressed. To program other devices, similar steps are performed.

How to program autorun?

To configure automatic engine start, you need to use the programming tables given in the instructions.

  1. In accordance with the table, it is necessary to move function 2-13 to the third position. This will allow the car owner to change the assignment of programmable channels to control the starter device and ignition system.
  2. Using the communicator, you need to set the time period from the moment the starter is turned on until the time the power unit starts. In accordance with the table data, the closest value for function 2-20 is set. If the setting is carried out on a vehicle with a diesel engine, then the time period for option 2-21 is indicated. If there is a Start/Stop button in the car, the values ​​of function 2-25 are adjusted. In cars with a turbocharged engine, option 2-24 is changed.
  3. Then you need to adjust the parameters to ensure smooth operation of the function. This refers to the warm-up time of the power unit, as well as the operation of the headlights in automatic start mode. Additionally, you need to configure the number of cycles to start the motor in remote mode; it is recommended to select no more than four. If the engine will be started using a timer, you must select a time interval.
  4. After the time is set, you need to “click” on button 4 ten times.
  5. To complete the settings of all values ​​and functions, you must simultaneously press the second and fourth keys of the key fob. The timer option will be enabled. To disable the automatic start function, similar steps are performed.

Operating modes

The Logicar 1 system can operate in different modes:

  1. To activate security, use the first button of the key fob, and to disable it, use the second key. After turning off the protection mode, all door locks will open, the starter mechanism and the power unit will be unlocked. If, when the security is deactivated, the alarm sounds six times with a siren, this indicates that the alarm was working. In the case of five signals, the system was turned on as a result of receiving an impulse from the sensitivity sensor.
  2. Activation of the vehicle search function in a parking lot is performed with the first button. When setting this option, car security must be turned off. The vehicle's lights will blink five times, and the communicator will play a melodic signal.
  3. To open the luggage compartment, the third key fob button is pressed for 2 seconds. When security is turned on, the mode will be turned off automatically, but the locks on the doors will not open. If necessary, the consumer can configure this option with unlocking door locks.
  4. To check the status of the car alarm, the fourth key is used; it is pressed briefly. After the “click”, the communicator display should display data on the operation of the anti-theft system.
  5. The “Panic” mode is activated by pressing and holding the 1st key fob button for two seconds. To disable the option, you need to “click” on the first or second key.
  6. Activation and deactivation of alarm signals by command is carried out by pressing buttons 1 and 2 on the key fob.
  7. Turning on and off the Valet service mode is done by simultaneously “clicking” on keys 1 and 3. This function is used if the car remains at a service station for repairs.
  8. To turn the sensitivity controller on and off remotely, press buttons 1 and 4 simultaneously.
  9. Activation and deactivation of the key lock mode on the key fob is performed by briefly pressing the third and fourth. When the function is turned on, the communicator will emit a short pulse and the display will show “Hold”.
  10. Activation of the security mode with the engine running is done by pressing the first button on the remote control. The ignition must be turned on and all doors, as well as the hood and trunk, must be locked. The door locks will be locked, the alarm will activate the security mode. If the protection is turned off or the siren is activated, the anti-theft system will automatically stop the engine and block its operation.

Setting up the “Pit Stop” mode, in which you can turn on the security with the engine running and when there is no key in the ignition, is done as follows:

  1. When the power unit is running, the transmission selector is set to the neutral speed position. In the case of automatic transmissions, the lever must be set to Parking mode.
  2. The handbrake lever is lifted.
  3. The second key of the communicator is pressed for two seconds. The transmitter will emit a melodic signal, the car's lights should blink once. The ignition support option will be activated, and the car’s headlights will blink once every five seconds.
  4. The key is then turned to the Off position to turn off the ignition. The power unit will continue to function for a certain time, configured in advance by the consumer.

The latest model is also easy to operate. To configure autorun, all you need to do is:

  1. Turn on the timer on the key fob by simultaneously pressing II and IV.
  2. Set the required time by entering the programming mode by long pressing I + IV.
  3. To activate the timed engine start, press IV 10 times in a row.
  4. You can set the time to turn on the motor once a day (I), at 8 hours (II), 4 hours (III) and with an interval of 2 hours (IV).
