Problem
As sad as it is to realize, West owners are not spared this problem either. Many owners notice knocking noises under the hood of the Lada Vesta, and they come from the right side.

Check and test
I removed the lower fitting of the adsorber valve, the plug with wires. I applied 12 volts to the valve and it opened. When I removed the throttle, I plugged the hole on the back side. He took a cigarette and lit it. When the valve was open, I blew into it. With my other hand I blocked the second channel into the intake manifold. What do you think happened? As a result, I concluded that the connections of the tube going from the valve to the intake manifold were leaking. Therefore, air is sucked in in a large volume. Everything below the canister valve does not need to be sealed. This does not affect the operation of the Lada Vesta engine, since air flows freely into the adsorber through the white fungus.

Replacing the rear additional engine mount

How to replace pillows on engines 21129, 21179 and HR16DE
On all three Lada Vesta engines, engine mounts are replaced using the same algorithm. The manufacturer has created competent unification thanks to adapter brackets.
Replacing the right support
The right support is the easiest to change. To do this, you need:
- Raise the engine slightly with a jack to relieve tension on the mount.
- Unscrew the support fastenings on the side members.
- Unscrew the bracket fastening to the engine.
- Remove the old support.
- Install the new one in reverse order.
It is most convenient to use a rolling jack, since the clearance of the Lada Vesta does not allow the use of another type of lifting mechanisms under the engine.
Replacing the left engine support on Vesta
Replacing the left engine mount is similar to the right one. To do this, you need to install a jack under the gearbox, lift it and unscrew the support fastenings.
