I found similar pictures for many cars, but I couldn’t find them for XRAY. In general, the trunk dimensions are not enough for station wagon-based crossovers, but +- they can compete with hatchbacks
from B and C class.
I didn’t measure all sorts of perverted values, such as the diagonal from the passenger’s feet to the rear window, although a three-meter beam diagonally fits into the car. As for the trunk opening, the cargo will fit in dimensions of 80 (in height) by 90 centimeters in width, although the opening itself is somewhat wider, something around 99 centimeters at its widest point. If you are interested in the height from the floor to the roof, then it is around 80-90 centimeters (with or without a raised floor). And if you fold the seat backs, there will be a space about 1.5 meters long; if you move the seats closer to the steering wheel, then a little more.
Roughly speaking, you can stuff a box measuring 1.5 x 0.8 x 0.9 meters into a car.
And for clarity, I attached a drawing with the main dimensions in mm and an accuracy of +- 10 mm. My measurements roughly agree with the data.

The tall hatchback in SUV style, as the Lada Xray is called in the company, is built on the basis of components of the B0 platform . Dimensions
As was already known, the front-wheel drive version of the Lada X Ray 2022, which has a Renault Sandero platform and a hatchback body, will be released first. The body length of this model will be 4.20 m, and its wheelbase will be 2.60 m. Next to start production will be the Xray Cross SUV, based on the Renault Duster with two drive options - front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Engines
There is no information yet about the technical characteristics of the Lada X Ray, but there is information that the engine range will consist of a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 114 horsepower, as well as a 5-speed manual transmission. There may be other options in the future.
Initially, it was planned to begin production of cars at the end of 2015 - beginning of 2016, however, according to new data, the Lada Xray model will begin mass production in October next year. Production will be established at the enterprise's facilities in Tolyatti and Kazakhstan.
Multimedia system

But it does not apply to all-terrain vehicles. In this case, the body has a load-bearing, one- or two-volume body. Thus, the sedan cannot be classified as a crossover. The main thing that characterizes a crossover is its original body, which does not replicate a passenger car on the same platform. Then everything becomes clear immediately.
The new Hyundai Creta, for example, belongs to the bright mini-crossovers on the B-class passenger platform.
You can’t say at all that it will be a platform relative of the Hyundai Solaris or Kia Rio. The mid-size crossover is the Nissan Murano, assembled on the D platform. Its relationship with the Renault Laguna is not easy to determine.

The rear seat of the Lada Xray has proportions of 60 by 40. It can be folded, resulting in space for large luggage of enormous size. After transformation, the interior turns from a comfortable means of transporting passengers into a cargo pickup truck. The luggage capacity in the standard rear seat position is 380 liters. Capacity with the seat unfolded increases to 700 liters. The rear doorway in the Lada X-Ray has a very large area, which allows you to load large cargo into the car. The trunk in the Xray is finished in matte plastic, which has a very reliable structure and is pleasant to the touch.
The front seats in the Lada Xray are very comfortable and comfortable, they are spacious and have enough legroom. Special sidewalls are attached to the seats to increase the comfort and protection of the passenger. At first glance, the dimensions of these sidewalls are small, however, it is thanks to them that the body of the passenger and driver is securely fixed during various maneuvers and sharp turns. The seats of the Lada X-Ray are designed taking into account human physiology, so they do not cause so much joint pain during long journeys.
Dimensions of the car, including wheelbase
As for its length, if you take a measurement from the extreme points of the Lada xRay bumpers, the tape measure will show 416.4 cm. The Renault Sandero has exactly the same dimensions, which is not surprising, since they are made on the same platform.
Regarding the width, it is measured at the extreme points of the right and left mirrors that provide rear visibility, and it is equal to 198.3 cm. Moreover, if you fold the mirrors, then the wheel arches will become the extreme points, and the width of the body will become 176.4 cm.
By the way, about mirrors. Many Lada X-Ray owners, especially those who have previously driven a Renault Sandero, complain that the mirrors on our SUV, let’s say, do not provide sufficient rear view due to their small size.
Cabin volume
The developers claim, and we can see with our own eyes, that the Lada X-Ray has the most spacious interior volume among cars of a similar class.
Indeed, the interior feels like it looks larger than it appears from the outside. Unfortunately, the volumetric parameters of the interior are usually not indicated in the technical description of the car, but the linear dimensions of the interior equipment of the Lada X Rey are available for review.
Moreover, the height of the cabin, measured from floor to ceiling at a maximum, is 122.0 cm. Its width, which is measured at the level of the shoulders of the driver and passengers, is the same for the entire length of the cabin - 133.0 cm.
But the distance between the backrests, which is measured in different positions of the front seats and in a stationary state of the rear seats, can be in the range from 60.0 to 81.5 cm, which is extremely small.
This is why there are numerous dissatisfaction in reviews that it is comfortable to sit in front, but not so much in the back, because there is nowhere to put your knees.
First impression of the salon
Considering that the Xray doesn't look particularly large from the outside, the interior may seem cramped, but once you take a look inside, you'll realize that's a misconception.
There is a lot of free space inside the Lada X-Ray.
- Five adults can comfortably sit in the cabin of the new Lada X-Ray and drive without feeling any discomfort or inconvenience during long trips and travels.
- Inside the Lada X-Ray, a feeling of freedom and spaciousness is created thanks to the proper arrangement of seats. The overall impression is also influenced by the impressive height of the ceiling. Even a very tall driver feels quite comfortable.
Tire and wheel size
Lada X Ray is equipped with various types of wheels, ranging from budget stamped ones with sizes of both 15 and 16 inches, to luxury versions with light alloy or five-spoke cast 17-inch wheels.
Tire size
Standard discs in accordance with the configuration are tire sizes such as 195/65R15 and 205/55R16. However, our brothers, the restless homemade craftsmen, manage and, as they claim, painlessly install tires with such parameters, where not only R17, but also R18 appears in the marking, and the most desperate ones do not stop there and even add wheels with rubber, where the marking R19 flaunts.
Experts' conclusions
In approximately the same, but abbreviated order, as our review of the Lada X-Ray based on dimensional characteristics was constructed, we will analyze both its advantages and its shortcomings, turning to the opinion of experts:
1. Body . The contours, like various embossings, are good only in an aesthetic sense, but our brother first admires them, and then spits, and together with the straighteners, when they have to repair their damage. Body sills do not have protection - the result is corrosion from the effects of gravel and salt, which our roads are often strewn with, and in abundance. The hood has a short rod for fixing the upper position, which is good for models in short skirts to tempt our brother, but our brother has to climb under the hood in a well-known doggy position;
2. Trunk . Its volume seems to be decent, it can take a couple of bags of potatoes, but in the upper part it has a narrowed opening due to the lanterns. And because of this, the rear window has limited visibility when looking in the interior mirror;
3. Salon . It is only good for those sitting in front. But for the rear passengers, especially the outer ones, at least get out through the windows, or spread out on the doors to move your knees somewhere to the side. And one cup holder for three is not the case like Vysotsky’s: it was invented for three, supposedly, for a reason.
The list of both advantages and disadvantages can certainly be supplemented, but the main thing is that the shortcomings are promptly eliminated by the manufacturer, otherwise their critical mass may affect the demand from our brother.
