Technical inspection after installing the EUR on a VAZ 2107
Installing an electric booster is formally considered to be making changes to the design of the car and is an obstacle to undergoing maintenance without the appropriate certificates of conformity. It will not be possible to hide the fact that an ESD is installed on a VAZ 2107 - the device clearly manifests itself when checking the steering wheel play. This may become a basis for refusing to issue a document confirming the completion of a mandatory technical inspection.

Basic Installation Recommendations
Initially, an adapter plate and a cardan are made. For this, a cardan from front-wheel drive and classics is used. Next, the crosspiece is dismantled (a thread is cut on it) and the cardan is adjusted to the length. After scalding the joint, the crosspiece is assembled. New grease will need to be added to its bearings.
Then the steering wheel is inserted (you can take it from a Lada Kalina). The next step is to connect the electrical part of the EUR. The red wire to the battery is connected through the fuse. The brown one connects to any mounting pin of this mechanism. The orange wire (ignition) is connected to the blue (ignition switch) through a fuse. The tachometer cables are connected to the dashboard chip to the blue-brown wire. The gray cable from the speed sensor is connected to the wire running from its 2 to 9 pin of the ECU.
Many auto mechanics do not recommend installing such a unit on the 2107 with their own hands. Especially if we are talking about a converted mechanism. As for the price factor, this pleasure will cost car owners a tidy sum of money. If the car is driven by a woman, then installing power steering is necessary.
