Installation of Starline A63

Installation of the anti-theft system is carried out with the battery disconnected:

The ignition in the car turns off, and so do all energy consumers.
A microprocessor system control module is installed. It is recommended to place it in a hidden place, inaccessible to strangers. Therefore, the unit should be placed under the plastic lining of the interior, for example, behind the instrument cluster, audio system or glove box. Installation must be performed in such a way that there are no electronic devices, sources of moisture or elevated temperatures near the device. During installation, the module is fixed in place using self-tapping screws or plastic clamps.
A siren is installed under the hood of the car. It should not be placed near the cylinder block or exhaust manifold, since high temperatures will have a detrimental effect on its functioning. The siren should be placed with its horn facing down or to the side to prevent moisture from accumulating inside. The device must be installed in a hidden place so that the criminal does not have access to the device and its wires from under the bottom of the car.
A transceiver module is installed on the inner surface of the rear or windshield. It is recommended to place it as high as possible to ensure maximum quality of transmitted signals. The surface of the glass must first be cleaned and degreased. To fix the device, double-sided tape or glue is used; the second option is more preferable due to its reliability. There should be no electronic devices or metal devices near the antenna; the distance from them should be at least 50 mm.
A tilt and shock controller is installed in the center of the body in the cabin. It is recommended to place it on the partition separating the engine compartment. The fixation of the device should be as strong as possible so that the sensor does not vibrate or trigger unnecessarily.
If you will use automatic engine start based on temperature, then you need to install a temperature controller under the hood. It must be embedded in the pipe through which the coolant circulates. The device must be properly fixed so that it is not washed away by the flow of antifreeze.
The locking relay is installed in the area of the ignition switch or in any other hidden place. Since this device is wireless, there will be no problems with its placement.
The Valet button to activate the emergency mode is installed in the cabin. Its installation location must also be hidden, but the consumer must have access to it from the driver’s seat. For better camouflage, the button can be wrapped with black electrical tape.
A Valet limit switch is installed on the hood. The push-button device must be located so that it cannot be accessed when the engine compartment is locked.
The final stage involves laying the wires. They should not be placed near moving components (pedals, steering column), or sources of interference. The latter include electronic devices, ignition coils, and high-voltage wires. Installation is carried out under the interior trim. Additionally, the wires can be wrapped with electrical tape to disguise them and ensure maximum wear resistance.

User manual

Before using a car alarm, you must link the communicators to the control unit:

Protection mode is disabled.
The emergency mode entry button is pressed seven times. The siren will sound several times, indicating that you have entered the binding menu.
On the communicator, press the first and second buttons simultaneously. The key fob should play a melodic signal.
The previous paragraph is repeated for each registered communicator.
After completing the task, the ignition is turned off.

To start the power unit on command, the first button (red) is pressed and held. The key fob should play a melodic signal. Indicators will appear on its display indicating the successful start of the car engine. To stop the power unit, first press and hold the first key, and then click button 4.
