How to install?
Alarm connection diagram
During installation, it is important to choose the correct location for installing the devices:
- The microprocessor unit is mounted inside the car; it must be installed so that the criminal does not find the device during a break-in. It is best to mount the unit under or behind the control panel if there is free space behind the center console. The module must be placed in such a way as to prevent drops from flowing down the electrical circuits into the housing. Fixation is done with bolts or tape. The device should be securely fastened to prevent vibration during movement.
- The antenna adapter is attached to the inner surface of the windshield. During installation, it must be taken into account that the transceiver must be placed no closer than 5 cm from the metal components of the machine body. This will prevent interference.
- A siren is installed under the hood of the car. It must be placed away from the cylinder block. The device is mounted with the horn facing down, this will prevent moisture from accumulating inside. When installing, make sure that a potential criminal will not have access to the siren and its electrical circuits from the bottom.
- The LED indicator can be fixed next to the antenna. Its installation is allowed in any visible place in the cabin, for example, on the instrument panel.
- The shock sensor is fixed on the metal surface of the body inside the car. It is advisable to install it in the center of the body. For installation, you can use a partition separating the engine compartment and the interior. The controller is fixed with tape or self-tapping screws. All additional sensors are installed in accordance with the technical manual.
- The key to enter the Valet service mode is mounted in a hidden place. But it must be installed so that the consumer has access to the button when he is in the driver's seat. This is important for setting up and emergency shutdown of the alarm in case of loss of the communicator. You can disguise the key by installing it under the dashboard and wrapping it with electrical tape.
- A limit switch is mounted on the hood. If you additionally purchased limit switches for all doors and trunk, then to install them you will have to remove the plastic lining. When installing, please note that the gap between the contact elements when the door or luggage compartment is locked should be no more than 3 mm. If this nuance is not taken into account, false alarms are possible.
- After installation of all components, the electrical lines are laid. Wires should be located away from sources of interference. We are talking about high-voltage cables, ignition coils, and electronic devices. Electrical circuits must not come into contact with moving parts of the body. All wires are connected with the battery disconnected in accordance with the diagram. If the connections are permanent, then they are connected by soldering; the connecting points must be wrapped with electrical tape.
- If you decide to additionally install an autorun module, then it must be connected correctly. The three-pin connector of the device is connected to the four-pin plug on the microprocessor unit. This output is hidden by a hinged cover on the device body. To connect, use the cable that is included with the autostart module.
You will learn about mistakes that should not be made when installing the complex from the Avtozvuk video.
How to use the signal?
