You need to measure the voltage between the same contacts, but on the installed sensor and with the ignition on. There are a large number of ready-made kits for measuring fuel pressure in the rail on sale. But purchasing it is not practical for one-time use. The high cost is due to the many different fittings and adapters for connecting to the main types of power systems.
