You can open the luggage compartment of the Lada Vesta Cross in three different ways: from the interior by pressing a special button, using a remote control key, and also with a button located directly on the trunk lid. Let us remind you that on the first Lada Vesta cars it was not possible to gain access to the luggage compartment by standing directly at its door and without using the car key. The trunk lid is held in place by factory gas struts, which ensures comfortable use and long service life of the mechanism.

Always first judge by official information from the dealer. Lada Vesta SW Cross offers us the following trunk dimensions:
- to the curtain with the raised floor installed – 385 l;
- with the raised floor removed – 480 l;
- folding the second row seats and removing the false floor - 825 liters.
We are talking about the spacious space under the raised floor - 95 liters. Such a solution is quite extraordinary. Although, with an eye to the quick dismantling of the structure, there will be no difficulties in transformation. The seats fold using 60/40 technology - a flat floor is not for this car.

Raised floor

Trunk of the CNG modification - why can’t you put a lot in it?
The factory's response to the current situation with a constant increase in fuel prices, in 2022 AvtoVAZ is launching a new model of the Lada Vesta CNG sedan on the market. A special feature of this modification is the ability to use gasoline and gas as fuel. Accordingly, the car is equipped with a gas cylinder installation. The luggage compartment was considered an acceptable place for a 90-liter methane cylinder. As a result, the volume of the trunk has been significantly reduced - its useful volume is 250 liters , the cylinder has a bad effect on the volume of space and convenience.
Trunk structure of Lada Vesta SV Cross
Niches are located on both sides of the trunk as standard. Here you can find camping supplies, a fire extinguisher, and a flashlight. Even more things are fixed through many hooks scattered on all surfaces. A small mesh stretches along the left niche, and a large one from the beginning of the tailgate to the backs of the second row seats (fixing large suitcases and bags).
At night, two light bulbs will illuminate the trunk space. They are located parallel on both sides of the arch. If you need to pump up the tires or turn on another device, there is an outlet on the right side. Its height allows you to connect electrical appliances without the risk of damaging the cable.

The new Lada Vesta model in a “universal” body has long been discussed in media sources and on automotive Internet portals. Photos of the Lada Vesta in its new guise presented on websites have caused heated discussions among car enthusiasts. Photos of the interior are very similar to the current interior of the sedan. The similarity in size and appearance is largely due to the fact that the station wagon will be assembled at the same plant in Izhevsk where the sedan is currently being assembled.
Most likely, the new Lada Vesta, like the sedan, will be equipped with three configuration options. What a real station wagon will look like will become known in the near future. The start of sales is scheduled for this fall.
Dimensions and appearance
Lada Vesta SV Cross
Station wagon Lada Vesta SV Cross is created on the basis of a sedan, and the body size will not differ. But due to the modified bumpers and the impressive plastic body kit on the sides, it will be 10-15 mm longer and wider than its relative. The height remained the same, despite a significant increase in ground clearance - from 178 to 203 mm. Body parts and the front part of the car completely copy the X-shaped style of the Lada Vesta.
The appearance is very similar to the sedan, but has its own differences due to the off-road design. The bumpers are now decorated with plastic silver trims that look like metal. On the sides there is also a protective body kit from unwanted chips and scratches. The roof of the car has a significant slope towards the rear, which gives the car a sporty look.
The wheels on the fully equipped Lada Vesta SW Cross station wagon are installed in size 205/50 with 17-inch alloy wheels. The appearance of the exhaust pipe will also change; it will become double and square in cross-section.

Model background
After the presentation of the concept, AvtoVAZ representatives announced the start of production of Lada Vesta SW and Lada Vesta SW Cross in the fall of 2016, but plans have changed. As a result of unfavorable economic and political conditions, the launch of new models had to be postponed.
This spring, the first photos of the interior of the Lada Vesta SW and SW Cross were published on the Internet. The interior is very similar to that of the sedan, but there are some differences. VAZ designers changed the shape of the front panel and improved the quality of materials. Colored inserts appeared throughout the cabin.
